Explanatory Note
This Bill increases to one megawatt the maximum nameplate capacity for all customers' generators connected to a public utility's electrical grid under a net-metering program developed and maintained under Section 3A of the Electricity Act.
An Act to Amend Chapter 25
of the Acts of 2004,
the Electricity Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Subsection 3A(4) of Chapter 25 of the Acts of 2004, the Electricity Act, as enacted by Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2015, is amended by
(a) adding "a nameplate capacity of one megawatt." immediately after "exceed" in the third line; and
(b) striking out clauses (a) and (b).
