An Act to Assess
Natural Resource Opportunities
in Nova Scotia

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Natural Resource Opportunities Assessment Act.

2 Subject to Section 3, within one year of the coming into force of this Act, the Department of Natural Resources shall fund and complete an airborne geophysical survey program to identify mineral deposits across the Province.

3 The money required for the purpose of this Act must be paid out of money appropriated for that purpose by the Legislature.
