An Act to Amend Chapter 18
of the Acts of 1998,
the Municipal Government Act,
and Chapter 39 of the Acts of 2008,
the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter,
Respecting Ministerial Approvals
1 Subsections 88(4) and (5) of Chapter 18 of the Acts of 1998, the Municipal Government Act, are repealed and the following subsection substituted:
- (4) A municipality may enter into a lease, lease-purchase or other commitment to pay money over a period extending beyond the end of the current fiscal year.
3 Subsections 111(5) and (6) of Chapter 39 of the Acts of 2008, the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter, are repealed and the following subsection substituted:
- (5) The Municipality may enter into a lease, lease-purchase or other commitment to pay money over a period extending beyond the end of the current fiscal year.
