An Act to Require the Expansion
of the Mental Health Court Program
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 This Act may be cited as the Mental Health Court Expansion Act.
2 As soon as is practicable but subject to Section 3, the Government shall establish and fund a Mental Health Court program for every region of the Province for which a Mental Health Court program does not already exist.
3 The money required for the purpose of Section 2 must be paid out of money appropriated for that purpose by the Legislature.
