Explanatory Note

This Bill requires members of the Board of Directors, officers, and employees of the Workers' Compensation Board, members of the Appeal Tribunal and members of a Medical Commission panel to demonstrate good faith to receive immunity from legal actions or proceedings.

An Act to Amend Chapter 10
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Workers' Compensation Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 167 of Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is amended by adding "demonstrates that the person" immediately after "omission" in the second last line.
