Explanatory Note

This Bill requires that all lottery tickets sold in Nova Scotia must have their expiration date clearly visible on them.

An Act to Amend Chapter 4
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Gaming Control Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 67 the following Section:

67A Every lottery ticket sold, or offered for sale, in the Province must have its expiration date marked and clearly visible on it.
