An Act to Enable the Transfer
of Lands Necessary for the Expansion
of the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre

Short title

1 This Act may be cited as the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Expansion Act. 2008, c. 45, s. 1.

Power to convey land to Province

2 The Halifax Regional Municipality may, upon such terms and conditions as the Council of the Municipality may determine, convey to Her Majesty in right of the Province any of the lands owned by the Municipality and situate in Halifax in the block bordered by Robie Street, Bell Road, Summer Street and Veterans Memorial Lane. 2008, c. 45, s. 2.

Proclamation

3 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation. 2008, c. 45, s. 3.
