Clause 1 changes the title of the Teachers' Professional Agreement and Classroom Improvments (2017) Act.
Clause 2 repeals portions of the Preamble unrelated to the Commission on Inclusive Education.
Clause 3 changes the short title of the Act.
Clauses 4 and 5 repeal the definition of "service award", the provisions of the Act other than the provisions dealing with the Commission
on Inclusive Education, some regulation-making powers and the Schedules to the Act.
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 The title of Chapter 1 of the Acts of 2017, the Teachers' Professional Agreement and Classroom Improvements (2017) Act, is amended by striking out "a Teachers' Professional Agreement and Classroom Improvements" in the second and third lines and substituting "a Commission on Inclusive Education". 2 (1) The first to seventh paragraphs of the Preamble to Chapter 1 are repealed. (2) The eighth paragraph of the Preamble to Chapter 1 is amended by striking out "AND" in the first line.(3) The eleventh paragraph of the Preamble to Chapter 1 is repealed.
3 Section 1 of Chapter 1 is amended by striking out "Teachers' Professional Agreement and Classroom Improvements (2017)" in the first and second lines and substituting "Commission on Inclusive Education". 4 Section 2 of Chapter 1 is amended by(a) striking out the semicolon at the end of clause (c) and substituting a period; and
(b) striking out clause (d).5 Sections 3 and 12 to 15, clauses 16(a) and (b) and Schedules A and B of Chapter 1 are repealed.
