Explanatory Note
This Bill removes the prohibition against prosecuting a person hunting, fishing, picnicking, camping, hiking, skiing or
engaging in another recreational activity or engaging in a study of flora or fauna in contravention of a notice given
or a sign posted prohibiting trespassing on certain forest land. This extends the protection against trespassers to
all forest land for which notice has been given or a sign has been posted.
An Act to Amend Chapter 363
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Protection of Property Act
Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:
1 Section 15 of Chapter 363 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Protection of Property Act, is repealed.
