An Act to Provide for the
Fair Treatment of Children

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Fair Treatment of Children Act.

2 Where a physician performs a medical examination of a person under the age of eighteen and, as a result, recommends a psychiatric assessment, the assessment must take place within thirty days of the medical examination.
