Explanatory Notes

Clause 1 enables the Crosbie Memorial Trust Fund to support the work of The Crosbie House Society.

Clause 2 increases from 10% to 20% the portion of the Fund that can be spent each year.

An Act to Amend Chapter 17
of the Acts of 2003,
the Crosbie Memorial Trust Fund Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 7 of Chapter 17 of the Acts of 2003, the Crosbie Memorial Trust Fund Act, is amended by adding "to provide funding to The Crosbie House Society for addiction services programs or, if the Society ceases to operate," immediately after "is" in the first line.

2 Clause 8(3)(b) of Chapter 17 is amended by striking out "ten" in the first line and substituting "twenty".
