Explanatory Note

This Bill permits the operation of a business to assist or participate in the making of beer, wine or cider by another person, commonly referred to as a U-Bru or U-Vin business.

An Act to Amend Chapter 260
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Liquor Control Act,
to Permit the Operation of Businesses that Assist
Others in the Making of Beer, Wine or Cider

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 56 the following Section:
