Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the Occupational Health and Safety Act to require safety procedures for employees who work alone or in isolation and additional protections for such employees who work in late-night retail premises such as gasoline stations or convenience stores.

An Act to Amend Chapter 7
of the Acts of 1996,
the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows: 1 Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 13, the following Sections:
