This Bill provides that a person who is required by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to participate in an ignition interlock program must participate in the program for a period of time equal to twice the length of the person's sentence, less the time the person spent in jail, and further provides that if such a person fails a blood alcohol test while participating in the program, that person must start the program again.

(11B) Notwithstanding subsection (11A), a person required to participate in an ignition interlock program pursuant to that subsection shall participate in the program for a period of time equal to twice the length of the person's sentence.

(11C) In subsection (11B), "person's sentence" means the length of the sentence given to the person by the court less the time the person spent in jail.

(11D) Where a person referred to in subsection (11B) fails a blood alcohol test while participating in an ignition interlock program, that person shall start the program again.
