Explanatory Note

This Bill removes the right of the owner of a municipal heritage property to alter the exterior appearance of the property or to demolish the property one year after the municipality has refused permission to do so.

An Act to Amend Chapter 199
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Heritage Property Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 18 of Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is repealed.
