This Bill requires the Governor in Council to, on or before January 1, 2007, make regulations respecting violence in the workplace.

1 Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 82 the following Section:

82A The Governor in Council shall, on or before January 1, 2007, make Violence in the Workplace Regulations based on the draft regulations prepared on January 15, 2003, by the occupational health and safety advisory committee.
