An Act to Exempt from Municipal Taxation
Certain Ice Rinks in Rocky Lake Commons,
Halifax Regional Municipality

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Rocky Lake Commons Ice Rinks Act.

2 Notwithstanding the Municipal Government Act, the ice rinks located or to be located at or near Duke Street, Rocky Lake Commons, Halifax Regional Municipality, and the land used in connection with those rinks, but not including any facility or property not part of the actual operation of the rinks and not including any concession or parking lot operated in conjunction with the rinks, are exempt from taxation by Halifax Regional Municipality pursuant to any enactment.

3 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
