Explanatory Note

This Bill requires the Governor in Council to make regulations, within six months of the coming into force of this Act, requiring the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation to publicize the potential negative effects of consuming alcohol during pregnancy.

An Act to Amend Chapter 260
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Liquor Control Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, is amended by adding immediately after Section 96 the following Section:
