An Act to Repeal Various Acts
that Place Restrictions on the
Orderly Process of Collective
Bargaining for Public Sector Workers

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 The purpose of this Act is to repeal various Acts that place restrictions on the orderly process of collective bargaining for public sector workers as established in various other Acts respecting such a process and, thereby, to reaffirm the commitment to a system of fair and free collective bargaining in the public sector.

2 Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1991, the Public Sector Compensation Restraint Act, is repealed.

3 Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1993, the Public Sector Unpaid Leave Act, is repealed.

4 Chapter 11 of the Acts of 1994, the Public Sector Compensation (1994-97) Act, is repealed.

5 Chapter 27 of the Acts of 2001, the Healthcare Services Continuation (2001) Act, is repealed.
