The revisions were made in accordance with the Judiciary Act by the Judges of Nova Scotia's Court of Appeal on January 21, 2013.

HON. JAMIE BAILLIE « » : Mr. Speaker, I hereby give notice that on a future day I shall move the adoption of the following resolution:

Whereas Bernie O'Neil is retiring after more than 40 years in the credit union system; and

Whereas Mr. O'Neil started as a teller in Sydney Mines in 1966 and rose through the ranks to become CEO of the Nova Scotia Central Credit Union; and

Whereas Mr. O'Neil was instrumental in creating the new Atlantic Central that brought credit unions from all four of the Atlantic Provinces together;

Therefore be it resolved that all members of this House congratulate Mr. O'Neil on a successful career and send him our best wishes as he begins the next chapter in his successful life.

Mr. Speaker, I request waiver of notice and passage without debate.

HON. JAMIE BAILLIE « » : Mr. Speaker, I hereby give notice that on a future day I shall move the adoption of the following resolution:

Whereas former Truro Mayor and respected business person Doug Carter passed away on April 9^th; and

Whereas Mayor Carter was first elected as a town councillor in 1968, became deputy mayor in 1969, and served as mayor from 1979 to 1997; and

Whereas in addition to his public service Mayor Carter, who is remembered as an avid sailor and an award-winning curler, is also the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal;

Therefore be it resolved that all members of this House remember the life and many accomplishments of Doug Carter of Truro, and send sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Speaker, I request waiver of notice and passage without debate.

Madam Speaker, the Cape Bretoners caught it, I don't know about these other people, these mainlanders, they didn't get it - to meet from the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. After the daily routine we will be doing Committee of the Whole House on Supply and, if time permits, we will do Bill No. 36 and Bill No. 37.

With that, Madam Speaker, I move that we do now rise. Everyone have a great weekend and see you on Monday.
