NOTICE OF MOTION UNDER RULE 32(3)

RESOLUTION NO. 539

By: Hon. Murray Scott (Cumberland South)

I hereby give notice that on a future day I shall move the adoption of the following resolution:

Whereas members and friends of the Springhill & Oxford Area Kidney Foundation will gather tonight to celebrate its 30th Anniversary in operation; and

Whereas this organization has done so much for so many people who suffer from kidney disease in this part of Cumberland County, making life easier and more bearable for those afflicted with the disease; and

Whereas the members of this foundation work tirelessly throughout the year to raise money to not only assist people but also to fight this dreaded disease, whether it be selling products or their Annual Breakfast, which is a major fundraiser held at the Lamp Cabin Beverage Room in Springhill;

Therefore be it resolved that all members of the Nova Scotia Legislature join me in congratulating all members, friends and families of the Springhill & Oxford Area Kidney Foundation on their 30th Anniversary and thank them for working tirelessly on behalf of so many people and wish them many, many years of success.
