Explanatory Note

This Bill adds mine rescue workers to the list of occupations subject to the presumptive coverage for post-traumatic stress disorder.

An Act to Amend Chapter 10
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Workers’ Compensation Act,
to Support Mine Rescue Workers

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Supporting Mine Rescue Workers Act.

2 Clause 12A(1)(a) of Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, as enacted by Chapter 16 of the Acts of 2017, is amended by adding ", mine rescue worker" immediately after "firefighter".
