An Act to Amend Chapter 260
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Liquor Control Act,
to Allow the Importation of Wine
for Personal Use

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 This Act may be cited as the Importation of Wine for Personal Use Act.

2 Section 50 of Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, as amended by Chapter 28 of the Acts of 2000, Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2007 and Chapter 21 of the Acts of 2011, is further amended by adding immediately after clause (1e) the following clause:

(lf) providing for the importation of wine from another province of Canada by an individual for his or her personal consumption and not for resale or other commercial use, and any terms, conditions or limitations in respect of such importation including which types of wine may be imported;
