An Act to Repeal Chapter 2
of the Acts of 1987,
the Camp Hill Foundation Act,
and Chapter 492
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Victoria General Hospital Foundation Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Chapter 2 of the Acts of 1987, the Camp Hill Foundation Act, is repealed.

2 (1) The Victoria General Hospital Foundation is dissolved.

(2) All right, title and interest of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation in any real or personal property and all rights and privileges of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation are vested in the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

(3) All obligations and liabilities of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation are obligations and liabilities of the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

(4) Any reference in any enactment or document to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, whether the reference is by official name or otherwise, is, as regards any subsequent transaction, matter or thing, deemed to be a reference to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

(5) Any gift, bequest or devise to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation is a gift, bequest or devise to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

(6) Chapter 492 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Victoria General Hospital Foundation Act, is repealed and, for greater certainty, Section 19 of Chapter 492 does not apply.

3 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
