Explanatory Note

This Bill amends the duty of a service provider to report if a person in care is or is likely to be abused to require that the report be made in writing.

An Act to Amend Chapter 33
of the Acts of 2004,
the Protection for Persons in Care Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Subsection 5(1) of Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2004, the Protection for Persons in Care Act, is amended by adding "in writing" immediately after "belief" in the second line.
